The IWC Schaffhausen perpetual calendar was originally developed in the 1980s by former head watchmaker Kurt Klaus. In 2003, this legendary complication was first introduced in the Portugieser collection. Since then, the Portugieser perpetual calendar has been a mainstay of the collection.
