OMEGA

OMEGA was founded in 1848 in the town of La Chaux-de-Fonds and in just twenty years has grown into a powerful empire supplying the world market with around 100,000 watches a year. As a master of the traditional art of watchmaking, OMEGA has also become one of the greatest pioneers in the watchmaking industry. Over time, its constant efforts and dedication to improving the accuracy and reliability of its watchmaking machines have led it to major innovations in both watchmaking and sports timekeeping. Since then, the Swiss brand has set the pace in many areas. Among its achievements are helping NASA and its astronauts on their missions into space, industrialising the invention of the co-axial calibre, the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games and working with the filmmakers of the world's most famous agent, James Bond.
