Description
Chronographs have been an integral part of the IWC Schaffhausen pilot's watch collection since 1994. This pilot's chronograph watch has a 43-millimeter stainless steel case, a black dial and rhodium-plated hands. The high-contrast dial with large Arabic numerals and a triangular index mark at 12 o'clock was designed in the style of easy-to-read instruments in a cockpit. Thanks to the luminescent elements, the time can be read at a glance, even at night or in poor visibility conditions. The IWC-manufactured calibre 69385, a precise and robust chronograph movement in a classic column-wheel design, allows you to measure stopwatches or cumulative times up to 12 hours. The hours are displayed on a counter at 9 o'clock, the minutes at 12 o'clock. The small seconds hand has a red hand and is located at 6 o'clock. The self-winding movement with a 46-hour power reserve is visible through the sapphire crystal back. The chronograph is water-resistant to 10 bar and is mounted on a five-link stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp. Thanks to the integrated EasX-CHANGE® system, the strap can be easily changed without the need for additional tools.
