Description
The Pilot’s Watch Chronograph is housed in a robust stainless steel case with a diameter of 43 millimeters. The olive-green dial features Arabic numerals and hour indices printed in white Super-LumiNova®, while gold-plated hands filled with Super-LumiNova® enhance legibility. The high-contrast, easy-to-read design is reminiscent of a cockpit instrument and recalls IWC’s early Pilot’s Watches, which were used for purposes such as celestial navigation. Another practical feature is the day and date indication at 3 o’clock.
The IWC-manufactured 69385 caliber, a mechanical chronograph movement with a power reserve of 46 hours, can be admired through the sapphire glass case back. Supplied with two strap options – a five-link stainless steel bracelet and a durable olive-green rubber strap – this chronograph is a versatile companion. Both are equipped with the EasX-CHANGE® system and can be exchanged quickly and easily without any tools.
