Description
Less is more: The Mark XX reduces the design and technical functions of a pilot's watch to its pure essence. It is the successor to the legendary Mark 11, the precise, non-magnetic instrument watch IWC developed in 1948 for navigators and pilots of the British Royal Air Force. This version features a robust and corrosion-resistant 40-millimetre stainless steel case, a blue dial and rhodium-plated hands. The high-contrast dial with white numerals and indices, a triangular index at 12 o'clock and luminescent elements ensure easy readability in all lighting conditions. The precision is ensured by the IWC-manufactured 32111 calibre with automatic winding and a power reserve of 120 hours. The front glass is specially secured so that it cannot come loose even in the event of a sudden drop in pressure. The IWC Pilot's Watch Mark XX is water-resistant to 10 bar and is mounted on a steel bracelet. Thanks to the integrated EasX-CHANGE® system, the bracelet can be easily replaced without the use of additional tools.
