In tribute to OMEGA’s legacy of space exploration, the Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon features a 44.25mm case in polished black ceramic. The polished bezel is also made of black ceramic and features a Liquidmetal™ tachymeter scale.
Beneath the sapphire crystal front is a polished ceramic dial with a small seconds hand at 9 o'clock, 60-minute and 12-hour registers at 3 o'clock, and a date window at 6 o'clock. The hour and minute hands, as well as the beveled indexes and subdial hands, are made of 18-carat white gold and filled with light green Super-LumiNova (green emission). The central chronograph hand is PVD-coated white gold and has a red tip.
Powered by the self-winding OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 9900, this bold timepiece is complemented by a black rubber strap with a lunar-like surface on the underside, a ceramic folding clasp and ceramized titanium springs.
