The original OMEGA Railmaster watch was launched in 1957 and was designed for railway professionals. For this modern update, OMEGA has retained the same timeless look while updating the design with a new color and a modern standard of accuracy.
The symmetrical 38mm case is brushed and polished and sits on an integrated bracelet that features easy-to-use, comfortable adjustments and brushed and polished links. In keeping with the easy-to-read display of the original Railmaster, the dial of this model is beige with a black gradient and features large numerals and hour markers in vintage Super-LumiNova. There is also a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock, which features a beige lacquered hand.
This watch continues the legacy of anti-magnetism of the Railmaster, thanks to the 8804 Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre. The movement is resistant to magnetism up to 15,000 gauss and can be observed through the transparent sapphire crystal on the caseback.
