Launched to mark the 37th America's Cup, the 46.75mm Seamaster Regatta is a professional instrument watch with both analogue and digital displays. Crafted from grade 5 titanium, the Seamaster Regatta is fully equipped for life at sea. Its invaluable tools include a moon phase indicator, chronograph, logbook, temperature indicator, accelerometer, 3 alarms and, of course, a regatta function.
The watch face features an LCD display with black markers on a white-gray background that displays numerous digital readings, as well as Diver 300M-inspired hour, minute and central seconds hands that can be erased from the display in backlight mode to increase the readability of the digital readings. The unique dial is surrounded by a minute track with integrated hour markers.
Four buttons, one in red and three in blue, all molded from rubber for ease of use at sea, navigate the functions. And a sandblasted crown with a laser-engraved OMEGA logo, which is operated by pressing and turning.
Turning the watch over reveals a wave-patterned caseback designed using the principles of “Helmholtz Resonance”. It features a resonant cavity that helps to amplify the volume of the alarms, which also serve multiple functions. This raised caseback is embossed with the distinctive 37th America’s Cup logo and engraved with the words SEAMASTER REGATTA and 37th AMERICA’S CUP. It also features the name of the watch’s brand new multi-function quartz movement: OMEGA’s CALIBRE 5701.
