The world's first polished bi-ceramic black and white bezel is mounted on the 43.5 mm stainless steel case. Here, the numerals and scales are provided in contrasting colors, separating night from day. Other features include an alveolar screw-down case and a stainless steel bracelet with a patented expandable folding clasp.
The OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Master Chronometer GMT is water-resistant to 60 bar (600 meters) and has a helium escape valve. At the heart of this watch is the OMEGA Master Chronometer calibre 8906, visible through the transparent case. To achieve Master Chronometer status, it has passed 8 rigorous tests set by METAS (Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology).
