This model with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal has a black ceramic dial with Arabic numerals, a date window at 3 o'clock and a central GMT hand. The 43.5 mm stainless steel case is fitted with the world's first polished bi-ceramic black and white bezel. Here, the numerals and scales are provided in contrasting colors, separating night from day. Other features include an alveolar screw-down case and a black leather strap with a rubber lining.
The OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Master Chronometer GMT is water-resistant to 60 bar (600 metres / 2,000 feet) and has a helium escape valve. At the heart of this watch is the OMEGA Master Chronometer calibre 8906, visible through the transparent case. To achieve Master Chronometer status, it has passed 8 rigorous tests set by METAS (Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology).
