The day of the week, date, month and moon phase are conveniently displayed on the dial: the Portofino Complete Calendar is the first IWC Schaffhausen watch with a newly developed complete calendar module. This version has a 41-millimeter diameter 18-carat 5N gold case, a silver-plated dial and gold-plated hands and applications. A subdial at 6 o'clock displays the date and month, while the day of the week and moon phase can be read off on a subdial at 12 o'clock. The calendar module consists of 123 individual parts and is powered by the IWC Schaffhausen caliber 32150. Each of its hands is driven by a separate gear train and can be set independently of the others using the crown or two buttons integrated into the side of the case. The complete calendar only needs to be set in months with fewer than 31 days. On the last day of the month, the date hand must be moved to position 31 using the crown. Around midnight, all hands are automatically moved one day. The movement, elaborately finished with a gold-plated rotor and bluish screws, can be admired through the sapphire crystal back. This watch is equipped with a taupe calfskin strap with a butterfly folding clasp.
