Description
The OMEGA Observatory model represents a major milestone in OMEGA's pursuit of maximum precision.
This 39.4 mm model, crafted from O-Megasteel with polished and brushed finishes, features characteristic faceted dog-leg lugs and a bezel with sharply cut facets. It comes with a dark grey leather strap and a polished buckle.
The "Pie-Pan" dial is reminiscent of the original 1952 Constellation model with dodecagonal facets, an applied OMEGA logo, and a Constellation star. The silvery dial has an opaline central surface and facets with 8 embossed grooves. The redesigned kite-shaped hour markers are entirely diamond-polished and match the diamond-polished dauphine hands, crafted from 18K Sedna™ gold.
The watch is powered by the OMEGA Calibre 8914, the world's first two-hand movement to receive Master Chronometer certification approved by METAS. The movement is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, revealing a rhodium-plated skeletonized rotor adorned with an applied medallion featuring a laser-engraved Constellation Observatory emblem in a contrasting finish.
