Description
The even swing of the seconds pendulum and the silent ticking of this highly precise watch evoke a sublime calm. The new Opus Secunda M 130 hangs on the wall like a painting, elegant and flat. The mineral anti-reflective glass allows a completely unobstructed view of the dial, hands, movement and pendulum. The U-shaped glasses are cut and glued diagonally in one piece by expert craftsmen. The bezels and base are decorated with metal inlays. And thanks to the discreet magnetic latch on the door, no locking hook is needed. The elegant design of the Opus Secunda M 130 is dominated by a skeletonized dial, which allows a glimpse of the gold-plated gears. The spherical moon in the chamber also gives the watch a unique look. It is hand-painted in production with the highest level of attention to detail.
This second pendulum clock is also extremely accurate, maintaining a maximum accuracy deviation of three to four seconds per month. A weight running on the side allows for a power reserve of 30 days. The fine toothing of the gears and the use of ball or jewel bearings for all rotating parts ensure a service life lasting for many generations. Slight changes in the length of the Super Invar pendulum rod caused by temperature are compensated for by a precisely calculated compensation tube. To prevent larger accuracy deviations caused by air pressure fluctuations, a double aneroid capsule is added to the pendulum. Polite restraint and modern elegance combine in a captivatingly beautiful precision clock that takes up all the necessary space without being intrusive.
