The Maurice Lacroix AIKON #TIDE has the same attributes as the other members of the AIKON family, but is made from recycled ocean plastic #tide combined with glass fibers. The resulting composite material is twice as hard as standard plastic, five times more durable and has a significantly lower carbon footprint. The bezel, case, crown, buckle and other parts of this new model are made from this composite material. It takes 17 bottles to produce one watch model and its custom-made packaging, made 100% from #TIDE ocean material®. It’s a win-win solution.
